Gerald P. Wolf, Esq.

Jerry counsels a diverse group of ERISA, estate planning and closely held business clients. He has designed and implemented complex tax saving estate and asset protection plans for high net worth individuals; qualified pension and profit sharing plans (including 401(k), cash balance and ESOP) and executive compensation programs for Fortune 500 companies, hospitals, banks, law and medical firms, and closely-held businesses; and shareholder, partnership, and LLC agreements and executive employment contracts on behalf of closely held businesses. Jerry was the only Long Island attorney awarded Super Lawyer status in the New York Metro Region for 2010, 2011 and 2012 in the Employee Benefits/ERISA category, was awarded Super Lawyer status in the Corporate Counsel Edition for 2009, and is a Fellow of the prestigious American College of Employee Benefits Counsel.

Before founding The Wolf Law Group, P.C. in April of 1999, Jerry was a name Partner in the Mineola based law firm of Meltzer, Lippe et al. and prior to that he was a Partner in the Park Avenue law firm of Alexander & Green and an associate at Shearman & Sterling. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at Pace University and Long Island University and as Faculty Chairman of the Practicing Law Institute Continuing Legal Education Program on Non-Qualified Deferred Compensation Plans for 10 years. Jerry has lectured and written articles for the American Bar Association, New York State Bar Association, Nassau and Suffolk Academies of Law, Practicing Law Institute, N.Y.U. Tax Institute, Trust and Estate Planning Council of Nassau County, the Nassau County Society of CLU, and numerous CPA Societies.

Jerry is a graduate of Brooklyn College (BA), University of Wisconsin (MS) and Fordham Law School (JD). He and his wife, Toby, are the proud parents of daughters, Dana, Erica, Amanda, and Debra and grandparents of Abe, Sam, Lily, Jessie, Joseph, Joey, Olivia, Naomi, Abby and Bella. Jerry is a published composer of popular and jazz music. One of his songs, “Adam,” received national radio play and appears on the jazz album, “Arthur Street.” His own album, “The Soul of the Wolf,” has been played on Long Island jazz stations and at local jazz events.

Debra L. Rosenberg, Esq.

Associate

Debra Rosenberg joined The Wolf Law Group in the fall of 2008 and is working in the employee benefits and estate planning areas. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in May of 2009 and to the New Jersey State Bar in December of 2008. Debra graduated Barnard College, magna cum laude, in 2005 and received her law degree from CUNY Law School in Queens in 2008.

Amanda Ebbin, Esq.

Associate

Amanda joined The Wolf Law Group in the summer of 2010 and is working in the estate planning, elder law, and employee benefits fields. Amanda graduated from Barnard College in 2003 and worked 2 years for a non-profit organization in Manhattan. She then attended New York Law School from where she graduated with a JD Degree in 2008 and was admitted to the New York State Bar in the summer of 2009 and the United States District Court of the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York in 2013. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Nassau County Bar Association, and is a member of The Estate Planning Council of Nassau County.

Mary M. Zingalli

CPA

Mary, a Certified Public Accountant, received her accounting degree from Adelphi University. Her experience with Arthur Andersen & Co. and Bankers Trust Co. have provided her with a wide range of experience in the accounting and auditing field. Mary is in charge of fiduciary accounting services for our pension and trust and estate clients and plays a lead role in the preparation of estate, gift and trust tax returns. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA). She is the proud mother of two sons, a certified scuba diver and enjoys social dancing and traveling.

Teresa M. Ines

QPA, APA, Director of Pension Services

Terry Ines has worked in the benefits consulting and administrative services field since 1980. She has a paralegal degree and an employee benefits certification from the Lawyers Assistant Program of Adelphi University. Terry is also a Qualified Pension Administrator and a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals & Actuaries. Her considerable experience ranges from sophisticated qualified plan design to plan implementation, employee communication, plan administration, and plan termination. Terry also has a strong background and successful track record in representing plan sponsors before the IRS on qualified plan audits and dealing with the IRS on complex pension and tax issues. She has also had considerable experience with the IRS Employee Plans Compliance Resolution System (“EPCRS”) in analyzing plan qualification and operational failures and assisting clients in the “self correction” program as well as filing applications under the Voluntary Correction Program (“VCP”). Terry is married and is the mother of two sons.

Cheryl R. Balsamello

Director of Employee Benefits

Cheryl Balsamello has worked in the pension/retirement plan field since 1981. She has had extensive experience in designing, drafting and administering qualified pension and profit sharing plans. Cheryl also has significant paralegal experience in analyzing and researching complex statutory and regulatory issues pertaining to ERISA (the pension law) and the Internal Revenue Code tax rules that govern qualified plans. Before joining The Wolf Pension Group, Cheryl worked for a number of well respected pension consulting firms and served as the chief benefits plan compliance officer at a Fortune 500 company. She also serves as a paralegal in the fields of employee benefits and corporate law for The Wolf Law Group, P.C. Cheryl is married and is the mother of two sons. In her spare time she enjoys reading and listening to music.

Maria A. Heinlein

Pension Administrator/Office Manager

Maria has been part of our team since The Wolf Law Group, P.C. opened its doors on April 1, 1999.  Her responsibilities include preparation of benefit distributions and loans, as well as general office managerial duties.  Maria graduated from Briarcliffe College with a Business Administration degree.  Previously she worked in the telecommunications industry as an Administrative Assistant to the Senior Vice President of the Marketing Department where she was responsible for organizing trade shows, advertisements, and general office administrative duties.  She also lived in Bari, Italy for four years and is fluent in Italian. Maria is the proud mother of her son, Alex.

Jeanine is an administrative assistant who works as The Wolf Law Group, P.C.’s receptionist scheduling client appointments and safeguarding our client files.

Rosemary works together with the pension team as an administrative assistant gathering data and organizing plan information.
